For our evolution unit summative project, you will choose a domain of What Makes Us Human to research and demonstrate your learning. This unit project will be divided into 4 domains: Weapons and Tools, Fire and Cooking, Art and Language, and DNA and body structure. Each student will be assigned to a domain and will be responsible for working with an exhibition group to create a museum exhibit to represent that specific domain. Each student will do their own individual project and write their own placard to explain the project. The projects will be cohesive with others in that domain and answer the overall question: How does this domain demonstrate what it means to be human?
Every student will receive a packet with the project description, a research organizer, and a rubric.
Click on the pictures below for more information about each domain. If you want to use an alternative or additional information article, please be sure it is a credible source. See the teacher with any questions or concerns.
